Research...

I began looking at some artists work as we have to design an interactive box/showcase. One of the artists that i began looking at after Roma gave us a lecture before Christmas was Joseph Cornell, the american artist and sculptor.

Joseph Cornell's most characteristic art works wer
e boxed assemblages created from found objects. Simple boxes, usually glass fronted, which he arranged surprising collections of photographs of victorian bric-a-brac. Joseph Cornell are interactive and are meant to be handled. Many of Joseph Cornell's work involved colourful images of various birds set against white harsh backgrounds.
I also had a look at Joseph Cornell's interactive page called "Navigating The Imagination" at
 www.pem.org/cornell
